Daystar Univesity Students leaders called for a student Assembly on 7th February.
The student board has faulted the administration of hiring ham-fisted firm that is carrying out an audit on the former VC Timothy Wachira who is on a forced sabbatical leave. When addressing the student Aloys claimed that the firm doesn't have qualified personally in carrying out investigation in Daystar University.

“I believe they are not qualified to do the kind of forensic investigation                that we need at Daystar University,” said Aloys.

The Chair went on and issued an ultimatum to the Council, the administration and the investigating firm saying, “Do not play with students. What you saw [classes boycott] is warm up.”

I had the privilege to have a one on one interview with current DUSA Nairobi Secretary General Arnold Bazenge Jr. and gave clarity on why they had to call for a Student Assembly.

In my interview with the Sec Gen he had the following on why they called for the student assembly gathering.
“The special students assembly was to reaffirm students issues raised  during  the boycott and to forge the way forward,” In regard to the investigating firm Bazenge went on and said that,
“Not do we doubt their credentials but however the scope of investigation lacked the primary which was the conduct of the vice chancellor whom we have lacked faith in his leadership and academic &general issues affecting the students

As Sec General, I can only tell the students that, ''The investigation has no head nor tail''
The Sec Gen. went on and said that all the matter raised during meetings with investigation firm were not new.

Daystar belongs to all of us, we must rise up and uproot out any rot in intuition.” Arnold Bazenge closing remarks.
