PLACES and Phrases Every K.U Fresha! SHOULD KNOW.

CAMPUS COMMON PLACES


1) KU student's Annex

"Nko annex, tupatane annex, kuja annex.... " common phrases used by Kenyatta University students especially 2nd years. 

This  is common when the semester is *new*, 
when HELB has been disbursed , 
when a comrade lands the weekend's betting bonus or when comrades call parents/ guardians for *Chris Brown Mombasa *corporate visits. Check what I mean 



It's a place where comrades believe that in beer there is freedom, in wine there is health, in Cognac there is power and in water there is bacteria 😂😂😂..long live comrades. It's the only place that Drugs are not  prohibited.





2) Post Modern Library (PML)

The only place you will find  emptiness during the start of the semester and full beyond it's capacity at the end of the semester. 

Despite it having all the resources needed to make your future bright, anti-library guys believe that G.P.A is manufactured by the sitting position in an exam room.

Anti library guys marking scheme:

*Sitting position 40%

* mwaks backup 20%

* eye witness    30%

* personal knowledge 10%

Facts about PML

1.Mostly visited for short/long calls.. Known to have the cleanest washrooms in the premises

2. The only place K.P.L.C has no control over. Known to have automatic generators

3. Comrades can meet life time partners there

4. Parking lot is spacious enough to accommodate  a fleet of Pettans's wretched vehicles.

Common phrases used.. "Nko second floor wacha nishuke, nko lib nakam and tupatane lib"













It's the most spacious, luxurious and comfortable post modern library in East and Central Africa.

3) Outlets/ shopping center

This is where comrades grab chapo smokie, fruitville and samosa. 

Comrades also meet to copy notes, copy paste assignments and pass time.

Commonly known outlets are

 a) Harvard for discussions, copy pasting assignments and grabbing snacks

b) old lib Outlet

c) Science zone outlet



4)  Blessed

Where the meal is more than the coins paid.

They also have exotic meals such as *haw haw, akuoga, ugali macho, chafua and the ever available ugali mix.

The only University with a railway passing across it : you can board a train and literally alight and still be within the school premises.
